We also offer Caribbean sport fishing for tarpon and Snook. These species are attracted to the rivers and estuaries of Costa Rica by perhaps the richest feeding grounds in the world. They offer an experience of a lifetime at two of the world’s finest Tarpon and Snook lodges; the Rio Colorado Lodge and the Silver King Lodge.

Or in a non package, the price per day is $400.00 per day a la carte. Non fishing clients are charged $120.00 per day and they arrange their own transportation. There are tours for these clients free of charge, a zoo, walk to town among the other activities. The deluxe package includes pick up at the airport the night in the Hotel Corobici in San Jose, fight to the lodge, pickup, full meals, open bar for national and international drinks, fishing licenses, all fishing equipment including lures and a full night on the return trip to San Jose at the Corobici. Those not using a hotel on the return will have subtracted $120.00 from the package price. The standard package difference is the following: Does not include drinks at any hour but at the 5-6:30 happy hour, fishing licenses of $57.00 for less than 3 days or $67.00 for more than 3 days, lures. This is the only fishing lodge in the area with air conditioned rooms.

We encourage you to consider the low season of June, July and August. This is an excellent time to come to the lodge and the special promotional price is $300.00 per day.

The Silver King Lodge is also a super lodge for Snook and Tarpon. They also offer the finest off shore fishing at no additional charge. The prices per person quoted below are double occupancy and include the following:

1. Pick up at the airport and the first night’s stay at the five star Martino Resort and Spa.

2. Round trip flight to the lodge; the airport by water is 5 minutes away. Flights are arranged through Nature Air. All airline service in Costa Rica is under the guidance of the Civil Aviation Authority.

3. All meals including wine with the meal and national beer and liquor.

4. Use of available tackle and free laundry service.

REMEMBER that you can also mix and match; that is, you can fish on the Pacific and Caribbean;we will accommodate your every wish. It is best to begin on the Caribbean side on account of connecting flights to not lose any fishing time while flying from the Caribbean to the Pacific side.

Is this a fine lodge? The fact that it is 60% booked already for January, February and March plus the fact that this lodge holds over 50 world records says it all. The rates are the following.

Zancudo Lodge is not responsible for excess baggage or over weight charges by the national airlines. Any luggage over 25 lbs. will be charged for overweight.

There are no discounts per se in the low season from May 1st to November 30th but there will be promotions from time to time like fish 3 days and receive the 4th free or father/son where the son pays 1/2 or children under 12 free.

The majority of our clients book at least four (4) days of fishing. Some prefer to complete this part of the trip to allow time to go sight seeing at the end. Others prefer to go fishing every other day and party or rest in between.

The wholesaler is responsible solely for the booking of tickets for you the client and has no responsibility legal or otherwise for the land and fishing packages offered by Costa Rica Sport Fishing (costaricasportfishing.net) of Costa Rica. It is understood that there is no cancellation of airline tickets once purchased.

The airline ticket purchase price does not include any land transfers in Costa Rica. The land transfers in Costa Rica will be a part of the land and fishing packages provided you by Costa Rica Sport Fishing of Costa Rica (costaricasportfishing.net). The airline ticket purchase price does not include the departure tax from Costa Rica. The cost of this item is $26.00 and is purchased at the airport in Costa Rica prior to departure.

The majority of our customers will more than likely wish to add a rental car, or perhaps a side trip for example. Below are some custom trips that we are offering:

The prices quoted are for the boat and one person or more. You can later divide the cost of the boat amongst the group and settle up amongst yourselves. Remember that a boat in the 26 to 36 foot range is best for four (4) fishermen. A 38 to 60 foot boat can easily handle 6 fishermen. The 50 foot Mikelson can handle 8 fishermen. The 64 foot Mikelson can handle 10 fishermen. We recommend that you consider a larger, more spacious boat for 6 to 10 fishermen. The cost is often very close in price to a smaller boat with 4 fishermen on a per person cost basis. We also strongly recommend that you consider the low season from May 1st to November 30th for cheaper rates.

Please try to print out the transaction and keep all receipts for your records. For cancellations within 4 weeks of you arrival date, there will be a charge of 10%. The cancellation policy applies only to land and fishing packages. Your airline ticket cannot be cancelled. You will then be credited to your charge account the remaining 90% originally charged.
